What a wicket slip may hold
A wicket form or a later letter may include a name, a reply address, and the message you type. Send only what is needed to name a mill range or an app question. Do not send passport scans, payment cards, or other sensitive files.
The wicket form keeps a copy of that slip in this browser's session storage, then opens your mail app addressed to hailey@nokonest.shop. The browser copy lasts for the tab session. The form does not post the slip to a server on this site.
Host logs
The host may keep ordinary technical logs such as an IP address, a browser string, and a time of access so the pages stay available and secure. Typefaces on this site are files we host. This notice does not describe advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, pixels, or other trackers that are not in use on the website.
What Flag Geography Quiz keeps on the device
Flag Geography Quiz version 1.0.0 is a local study atlas. Rounds run on the phone. No account or sign-in is required, and we do not run a cloud sync of your atlas. A built-in bank of 80 countries ships with the app.
- Run history, including correct counts, pins left, peeks used, and time
- Misses, miss notes, and drill progress
- Saved country cards
- Atlas progress, seals, stats, pin streak, and calendar stamps
- Daily-set progress for the date on that device
- Theme choice (Atlas paper or Night chart) and the reminder preference
What the app does not take
Version 1.0.0 does not ask you to create an account, and it does not upload quiz progress to our office.
- No login, password, or profile
- No cloud copy of runs, misses, or saved cards on our servers
- No advertising SDK, tracking SDK, or third-party analytics SDK in version 1.0.0
- No in-app purchases and no payment card fields in version 1.0.0
- No sale of personal information
- No location, contacts, photos, or microphone
Device permissions the app uses
The quiz runs without extra permissions. Two system prompts appear only when you ask for them.
- Notifications, only if you turn on the optional daily reminder. The reminder is off by default. The quiz still runs if you deny the permission.
- The system file picker, when you export or import a JSON backup of progress, misses, and saved cards. Files are written only to the folder you choose. Import replaces local progress from a file you pick.
Why we use website information
We use contact details you send so we can reply, keep the site secure, and meet legal duties. App files stay on your device so the quiz can show your runs, misses, cards, and seals. We do not sell personal information.
How long information stays
Website inquiry files stay only while we handle them. We then delete or anonymise the file, except when a statute says we must keep it longer.
Atlas data stays on the phone until you clear it in Settings or uninstall the app. Clearing progress removes runs, misses, saved cards, and seals. It does not remove the built-in country bank. Because those files are not stored on our servers, the Dewsbury office cannot erase them from the phone.
Who else may see information
Personal details are not sold as advertising inventory. We pass a website slip along only for hosting, a legal demand, or to protect rights. Quiz progress is not uploaded to us. A JSON backup leaves the phone only when you export it through the system file picker.
Your rights
Where UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply, you may ask to see, correct, delete, or restrict contact information we hold from website correspondence, and you may object to some uses. Write to hailey@nokonest.shop or use the Wicket page. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Visitors under thirteen
This site and Flag Geography Quiz are for a general audience and are not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child under thirteen sent a wicket slip, we delete that slip. The app does not create an account.
Changes
When this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Hosting equipment may sit in the United Kingdom or in other jurisdictions used by the host.
